Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Ease mobile application ("Ease", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We built Ease to help you rest — not to harvest your data. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

1. Information we collect

Usage & diagnostics (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics). Anonymous, aggregated information about how the app is used (e.g. which features are opened, session length) and crash/performance reports, including a random per-install identifier and basic device information (model, OS version). This helps us fix bugs and improve the app. It is not linked to your identity.
Purchase information (RevenueCat / Apple). When you start a subscription, your purchase is processed by Apple. We receive the subscription status (active, expired, trial) through RevenueCat so the app can unlock premium features. We never receive your full payment card details.
Content you create on your device. Favorites, sound mixes, listening statistics, mood check-ins and routine progress are stored locally on your device.
Apple Health (optional). Only if you explicitly enable "Sync to Apple Health", Ease writes mindful-minutes and sleep session data to Apple Health. This data stays on your device / in Apple Health and is never sent to us. You can revoke access at any time in the iOS Health app.

2. How we use information

To operate core features (audio playback, mixes, timers, routines).
To unlock and manage your subscription / premium access.
To diagnose crashes and understand which features are useful, so we can improve Ease.

3. Tracking

Ease does not track you across other companies' apps and websites, and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA). We do not show third-party ads.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only use the service providers needed to run the app: Apple (payments, optional Health), Google Firebase (analytics & crash reporting), and RevenueCat (subscription status). Each processes data only to provide these services.

5. Subscriptions

Ease offers auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

6. Children

Ease includes an optional "Kids Mode" with a gentler experience. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data retention & your choices

On-device content is removed when you delete the app. You can opt out of analytics in Settings → Analytics inside the app, and revoke Health access in the iOS Health app. To request deletion of any diagnostic data associated with your install, contact us below.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
